Capacity of Cassava Starch Production Machine
Cassava starch processing machine is a complete set of machinery, mainly used to make cassava starch, potato starch, sweet potato starch, etc. This machine can be also used to make Lotus Root Starch and Pueraria Starch.
What capacity of cassava starch processing machine? GELGOOG offer different capacities of cassava processing machines, like 500kg/h, 1ton per hour, 2 tons per hour, also can be customized as customers' requirement. The maximum capaticy can be 6.5tons per hour.
Generally, 3 tons of raw cassava can be produced 1 ton cassava starch. While for potato, 5 tons of raw potatoes can be produced into 1 ton potato starch, and 4 tons of sweet potatoes can be produced in 1 ton sweet potato starch.

The processing production of making cassava starch is: Remove stone—washing-- steam peeling-- dry brush peeling-- sorting and pruning--slicing--blanching and cooling-- cooking and mashing—transport—unifying materials—making flakes—scraping--packing.
>>Washing & Peeling Section
To cassava, the material is sent to cage washer through scrape board to get the result of decontamination, cleaning and peeling. Then through a paddle-washing slot, material is sent to crash section.
We adopt the rasper to crash materials. Compared with traditional crasher, it has the large capacity, high starch dissociation degree features, which are essential to get high starch recovery.
>>Crush & grinding section
Grinding fresh cassava root into cassava slurry to make it easy dewatering and drying.
>>Extraction & Concentration & Refining Section
The crashed material is sent to centrifugal sieve through pump to extract cassava starch and separate cassava residues.Centrifugal sieve group are 4 or 5 stages, the front stages is to extract starch and the last stage is to dewater the cassava residues. The whole stage adopts countercurrent washing to get the best results and saving water.
Sending the fine slurry to dewatering machine to remove the moisture inside the slurry, and then send it to the air dryer. Compared with other starch, it is more suitable for cassava starch to de-water by vacuum filter. Moisture content of dewatered starch is 38~40%. Wet starch is sent to drying system through belt conveyer.
Drying the de-watered cassava starch in the air dryer to get dry product. Dried cassava starch reaches sieving system. High efficiency cooling starch sifter is used to cool starch and get the best starch viscosity.
