On September 16, the 2025 BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum opened in Xiamen, Fujian Province. With the theme “Unlocking the Potential of Greater BRICS Cooperation to Achieve Inclusive and Sustainable Industrialization”, the forum was co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the People’s Government of Fujian Province. Representatives from government departments of 34 countries, diplomatic missions in China, leading enterprises, industry associations, think tanks, financial institutions, as well as international organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the New Development Bank, attended the event. GELGOOG CEO Fiona Zhang and Executive Director John Li were invited to participate.
As an outstanding representative of China’s food industry, GELGOOG stood out with its strong technological capabilities. The company’s Saudi Arabia Fruit & Vegetable Deep Processing Equipment Project was successfully selected into MIIT’s 2025 BRICS Industrial Cooperation Cases. Notably, it was the only food industry case among all selected projects.

The project provided a full-process solution—from process R&D, production line planning, and customized equipment manufacturing to delivery and training. By leveraging innovation, GELGOOG helped the local industry establish an advanced vegetable sauce solution. The fully automated intelligent production line improved efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced food safety, significantly boosting local food self-sufficiency.
